A TOP RATED COMPETITION ON FILMFREEWAY

“I wasn't sure what to expect when I entered the "First 15" competition. However, the feedback was GREAT, meaning specific, actionable - professional, but relatable. When I resubmitted, I knew I'd made a stronger script opening and it paid off with a finalist placing.”

— Laura K.

“We paid to get professional feedback from a mentor at Page Turner Screenplays so we could do some revisions before the final deadline. We think it was well-worth it! The mentor gave us detailed feedback and patiently discussed all the questions about our script and his feedback that we had. As a new screenwriter, I thought the investment in improving our skills was well worth it!”

What an incredible festival. We couldn't have asked for anything better. We're going to be sure to come back next year!!

Page Turner Screenplay Competition is the most supportive group and helpful with 'next step' advice. My thanks to Trevor and the entire team.

Excellent experience with Page Turner. All correspondence was promptly returned. Great feedback, and I really appreciated being able to use that feedback and then re-submit my pages. I would submit again, because of their high quality and professionalism.

I took a chance on this festival in October of 2019. At the time, it was merely a way to polish a script I'd had kicking around for 20+ years. I had no illusions about the script. I merely wanted to know what someone else thought of it.
I was blown away, and I know that is an overused cliche. The person who read the script is a fan of the narrow genre I chose. They were incredibly helpful in tossing out old habits and getting me to see things with new eyes. I admit that having this script around that long, I know these characters so very well and I found it hard to see what could be wrong with how they were portrayed.
I was so excited when coverage came and it was "This is good. This is good. Now, let's work on this." I'd received so much coverage which was "This is bad" but without any suggestion of how to fix the bad. I wrote and rewrote and wrote again and became a quarterfinalist thanks to the help I received. I'm already looking at a different script to submit this time; to step back from the one I submitted before so I can view it in a couple months with new eyes. Page Turner was worth every penny, farthing, shilling, copper I invested.
