The FIRST 15 is a unique competition where your script will only be judged based upon your opening FIRST 15 pages.

The FIRST 15 is a great way to kick off the New Year and jump-start your writing to prepare your script for all the upcoming top tier competitions, writers programs and residency applications. Should you choose to do the notes option, you will be provided feedback by one of our WGA professional working writer on tactical techniques to improve your craft throughout your script. Whether it’s improving the dialogue, description, emotional context, level of conflict, style or story itself, these notes have been considered invaluable from those that have received them through the PTS 100 competition. These notes will be highly tactical, meaning that it will be hard, direct recommendations you can use to improve your script immediately. It WON’T be fluffy, screenwriting philosophy. It will be tangible advice you can implement immediately.

This competition is designed to help you get your script in the best possible shape you can should you choose to use the notes option and if not to test your script in competition before you may be submitting to or to prepare you to be read by managers and agents.
